Conscious sedation is a technique used here at our Casanova 25 Dental Clinic since we consider it to be an option for those patients who for various reasons cannot be treated in the conventional way.
When using conscious sedation we require the presence of our anesthetist David Martínez López, a medical anesthetist with extensive experience in the dental sector.
Conscious sedation is a technique indicated for the following groups of people:
Conscious sedation consists of administering drugs to a patient either orally or intravenously with the aim of ensuring relaxation as well as achieving a & nbsp; feeling of well-being.
Conscious sedation causes a slight depression on the central nervous system, ensuring & nbsp; & nbsp; that the patient enters a state of relaxation, well-being and slight drowsiness that allows them to tolerate the dental treatment in question without being aware of duration, discomfort, or pain.
Conscious sedation will always be applied, supervised and controlled by a medical anesthetist. CDC25 has a special license allowing us to work with sedation and we can therefore offer this service to our patients.
Conscious sedation is carried out by the anesthetist in a dental surgery specially prepared for this type of intervention since it must have the following: & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
The patient is prepared, intravenous medication is administered, and once the anesthetist is satisfied that the patient has the level of sedation deemed appropriate, the dental work begins.
Dentist licensed by the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), with specialization degrees in Implantology and Endodontics. Specializing in conservative dental treatments, as well as implants, periodontics and prosthetics.
